KORE wurde Ende 2016 von den Initianten Kevin Muster (Kurator, Gründer RedTree Auction & wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter bei Auctiones), Samuel Klopfenstein (Kurator & Assistenz RedTree Auction) und Tim Engel (Grafik, durchzwei – Atelier für Gestaltung) gegründet.
KORE versteht sich als multifunktionale Plattform für Kunst.
